Collection Schedule
Trash
- Winters Brothers will collect garbage three (3) days per week.
- All collections shall be made between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
- Procedures (including Special Pickup and Hazardous Waste)
Recycling
- Of the (3) collections per week, one collection per week will be limited to the collection of recyclables (ie: paper, plastic, and metal)
- Recycling is on Wednesday for all areas
- Recycling is not picked up during the week of a holiday
- Glass is no longer recyclable and should be included in regular garbage.
- The Town of Oyster Bay started a program to recycle glass in April 2019 on an experimental basis. The info is here: http://oysterbaytown.com/town-first-set-glass-recycle-stations-nassau/
Collection Holiday Schedule
- No collection will be made on a legally recognized holiday.
- In the event any scheduled pickup day is a legally recognized holiday, the pickup shall be done on the next succeeding business day.
- If a Holiday falls on a Monday, your garbage will be picked up on Tuesday. Regular Tuesday pickups will be on Wednesday. No Recycling this week.
- If a Holiday falls on a Tuesday, your garbage will be picked up on Wednesday. No recycling this week.
- If a Holiday falls on a Wednesday there will be no recycling.
- Recycling is not picked up during the week of a holiday
