May 28, 2021-Village Tax Bills for 2021/2022

Dear Residents,

The Village tax bills have been mailed.  If your mortgage provider holds escrows for taxes, the tax bill should have been sent directly to your bank.   If you do not escrow your taxes and do not receive a bill from the Village, please contact the office.

The Mayor and Board of Trustees passed a local law for 2021 authorizing a 30 day special extension to pay your taxes without penalty due to the COVID 19 State of Emergency.   Since  July 31, 2021 is a Saturday, you will have until Monday, August 2nd to pay your taxes without penalty.

The Village provides several options for paying your tax bill.

In Person  You can come to the Village Office on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10 am and 2 pm.  There is also a mail slot at the office.

By Mail  Your payment must have a United States Postal Service postage mark dated on or before August 2, 2021 or penalties and interest will apply.

Online   Payments may be made securely online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), or electronic check.  There is an additional service fee to pay online.  This fee is retained by the payment processor and the Village receives no portion of this fee as per NY State Law.  Online tax payments can be made  HERE starting June 1, 2021.

Sincerely,

Joanne A. Casale
Village Clerk
