PSEG UPDATE-August 10, 2020

As of late last night, PSEG reported to us that 189 homes out of 856 residences in Oyster Bay Cove  are still without power.   Click here for PSEG Outage Report.

On yesterday’s Officials Conference Call, PSEG stated that they planned to have electricity restored by Monday.   However, it became clear on the call that some restorations are not being scheduled until Tuesday.  The North Shore  is the remaining major problem area and they are bringing in crews that are freeing up from the South and the West.  All of the North Shore  Mayors  reported a  lack of repair crew visibility and an overall inadequate response.

Our Village Officials and Police Sergeant have surveyed the area numerous times with PSEG Supervisors, but there is still a delay in getting the crews out.   The Village continues to contact our PSEG representatives to  press the urgency of having our electricity restored.
