June 22, 23, and 24 2019 Cassini Estate Exhibition- Auction Viewing in Oyster Bay Cove
We want to inform our Village residents about an upcoming event in Oyster Bay Cove, since it is expected to be well-attended. The viewing hours are 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The entrance will be at 47 Sandy Hill Road (not the McCouns Lane entrance) and although our police force will endeavor to keep traffic flowing, Sandy Hill is a narrow and challenging road. Street-side parking will be prohibited, so cars must park at the estate. Note this is a Viewing only and the actual auction will not take place until June 27th in NYC. Although this is a public event open to all, this is a private residence with narrow stairways that may be physically challenging, particularly with a crowd. Also, please note that the estate is in receivership with litigants attempting to block the event, so those planning to attend should verify that the event is still scheduled before visiting. We have worked closely with the NYC sheriff's office, and private security on the security/planning process, but we recommend that unless you reside on Sandy Hill Road, you should avoid this road on these dates.
