April 24, 2023-Reminder Road Work to Begin Tonight on 25A

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that beginning Monday, April 24, one lane in either direction of State Route 25A is subject to closure between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. between State Route 108 in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County and Annandale Drive in the Village of Oyster Bay Cove, Nassau County for approximately two weeks, weather permitting, to facilitate a pavement renewal project.

Motorists are urged to plan accordingly and drive responsibly in work zones.  Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
