Alert: Stay Away From Down Electrical Wires

As PSEG is working to restore power in the Village, some electrical lines that are broken and on the ground have re-energized. This is creating an extremely dangerous situation. This morning, this was the cause of a fire on Yellow Cote Road. Luckily, no one was hurt.
For your own safety, please stay away from ANY wires on the ground since they maybe live . If anyone should see wires that are sparking or smoking, please call 911 immediately to have the Oyster Bay Cove Police and fire department respond.
