Nassau County has created a “Damage Self Report Tool” on the home page of its website. Any homeowner or business owner should fill out this damage assessment tool to determine whether the State is eligible to apply for FEMA disaster assistance for direct relief for homeowners and individuals. This does not guarantee any type of assistance from the state. The deadline is tomorrow, October 11, 2023.
